Algebra Skills for College

This class counts as credit toward the AE High School Diploma, College Transitions Program (CT), and is useful for Accuplacer® and HiSET® prep.

HiSET Prep/ Winthrop (formally GED)

Prepare for and take the HiSET assessments. The HiSET program will measure your knowledge in five core areas: reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. There is no cost and enrollment is open throughout the semester.

Number Skills for College

We will refresh, review or learn for the first time the skills needed to place into college mathematics classes. Skills covered include review of whole numbers, fractions, decimals and percents.  We will also cover elementary geometry and as time allows, beginning algebra. The goal is that all students pass the Accuplacer® in ARITHMETIC.  This class counts as credit toward the AE High School Diploma, College Transitions Program (CT), and is useful for Accuplacer® and HiSET® prep.   Diploma students are free.
