Constellations of Fall

with Ted Elliott

only 5 seats left

Enjoy the crisp Fall air at one of the best places in Maine to view the stars - Winthrop High School! Exploe the Moon through the Newtonian Reflector telescope, identify the planets of Fall: Saturn, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus.   Identify the Zodiacal Constellations that are visible this time of year. Consider the immensity of the universe and discuss it to scale using Messier's List of Astronomical Objects. Whether you are a scientist or novice, this is an experience and education you won't want to miss!

Binoculars are helpful and you will need: The Stars: A New Way to See Them by H. A. Rey. ISBN:978-0-544-76343-2
