The Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife’s Hunter Education Course is more than a “gun safety” class. This basic mandatory course consists of classroom and home instruction/study. Each course is taught by a trained certified volunteer instructor according to statewide standards. Students are provided with a course handbook, outdoor survival information, and additional handouts. Home study is required. You must be on time and attend both classes.
Two classes: Thursday, April 12, 6-9pm AND Saturday, April 28, 8:30am - 4:30pm. Both at Winthrop Middle School Cafeteria
